Science

At Cinnamon Brow C of E Primary School, we believe that science should inspire curiosity, wonder and a lifelong interest in understanding the world around us. Through an ambitious and carefully sequenced curriculum, children develop both scientific knowledge and the skills needed to work scientifically, learning to ask questions, make predictions, investigate, observe, analyse evidence and draw conclusions. Through practical enquiry, discussion and exploration, pupils become confident scientists who think critically, communicate their ideas using scientific vocabulary and make meaningful connections between science and everyday life. Our curriculum encourages children to appreciate the role science plays in shaping the modern world and equips them with the knowledge and understanding needed to become informed citizens of the future.
