 Geography

At Cinnamon Brow C of E Primary School, we believe that geography helps children make sense of the world around them by developing their understanding of people, places, environments and the relationships between them. Through an ambitious, enquiry-led curriculum, pupils explore their local area, the United Kingdom and the wider world, building both geographical knowledge and fieldwork skills as they progress through school. Geography encourages children to ask questions, investigate real-world issues, analyse evidence and consider how physical and human processes shape our planet. Through discussion, oracy, fieldwork and exploration, children develop curiosity, cultural awareness and a sense of responsibility for the world they live in, preparing them to become informed and active global citizens
