Physical Education (PE)

At Cinnamon Brow C of E Primary School, we believe that Physical Education plays a vital role in developing confident, resilient and physically literate children who enjoy being active and understand the importance of leading healthy lifestyles. Through an ambitious and inclusive curriculum, pupils develop fundamental movement skills, physical competence, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship whilst participating in a broad range of sports, games and physical activities. Children are encouraged to challenge themselves, evaluate their performance, work collaboratively and apply their skills in both cooperative and competitive contexts. Through physical activity, discussion and reflection, pupils build the confidence, knowledge and positive attitudes needed to maintain lifelong participation in sport and physical activity.
