At Cinnamon Brow C of E Primary School, we believe that learning a foreign language provides children with a valuable educational, social and cultural experience. Through an ambitious and progressive curriculum, pupils develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to communicate in another language whilst gaining a deeper understanding of different cultures and communities. Children are encouraged to listen attentively, speak with increasing confidence, develop accurate pronunciation and apply their language skills through speaking, listening, reading and writing. Through discussion, oracy and meaningful communication, pupils become confident linguists who are prepared to engage with an increasingly connected and diverse world.
